THE DETAILS
Terms & Conditions
Effective date: 23 September 2026
1. About these terms
Travel Art helps you turn photographs into stylised travel artwork, personalise it with lettering and prepare designs for print. These terms apply to the Travel Art website, app and artwork-generation service. Please read them before creating an account or using the service.
Operator: Simon Hopkin, trading as Travel Art
Contact: support@travelart.app
You can also use our contact form. Travel Art operates the app and artwork service. As explained in section 6, Teemill Tech Ltd is the seller when you choose to buy a physical print through its checkout.
The initial service is offered in the United Kingdom: England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. It is not currently offered in the Republic of Ireland or elsewhere in the European Union.
2. Your account and acceptable use
Provide accurate account information, keep your sign-in details secure and contact us if you believe someone else has accessed your account. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless it results from our failure to protect the service.
Do not use Travel Art for unlawful activity; to infringe another person’s rights; to harass, threaten or exploit anyone; to create or distribute unlawful content; to bypass service limits or security; or to interfere with the service or other users.
We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users or the service, investigate suspected misuse, comply with law, or respond to a material breach of these terms. Where reasonably possible, we will explain the reason and give you an opportunity to contact us. You may challenge a restriction through support@travelart.app. Restricting the app does not cancel or alter a print order already accepted by Teemill.
3. Your photographs and content
Upload only photographs and other content that you own or have permission to use. You are responsible for obtaining permissions needed for people, artwork, brands or other protected material shown in your content.
You retain your existing rights in content you upload. You give Travel Art and the providers involved in delivering the service permission to process, store, transform and reproduce that content only as reasonably necessary to generate artwork, save designs, provide previews, prepare a print product you request, operate and secure the service, and meet legal obligations. This permission ends when the relevant content is deleted, except for copies that must temporarily remain for an active request, security, backup or legal reason and content already transferred to Teemill for a print product.
We will not use your photographs or artwork in public marketing without separate permission.
4. Generated artwork and personalisation
Travel Art transforms your photograph into artwork in your selected style. The process may reinterpret, omit or alter details, and results can vary between generations. Style examples show a visual direction and do not promise an identical result.
Review your chosen artwork and check all spelling, lettering, cropping, layout, size and frame choices before continuing to print checkout. Screen colours and illustrative room views may differ from a physical product. This does not affect your legal rights if a product is faulty or does not match its description.
You may use the artwork for your personal, lawful purposes and order the available print products. We do not promise that generated artwork is unique, that copyright or other exclusive rights arise in every output, or that an output is suitable for commercial use. Travel Art does not transfer rights in material owned by somebody else.
5. Availability and generation allowances
Travel Art does not charge a subscription or fee for artwork generation at launch. Each account normally receives five generation attempts per day, with the remaining allowance and reset time shown in the app. Only an explicit generation request uses an attempt; editing lettering or preparing a preview does not.
A confirmed generation failure is normally released back to your allowance. An attempt may remain temporarily reserved while the outcome of a provider request is uncertain. Contact us if an attempt remains unavailable after the displayed daily reset.
We may change future allowances or available features for genuine operational, security, cost or service reasons. A material reduction will be communicated reasonably in advance where practical. Changes do not create a charge or affect a print order already placed. Maintenance, demand or technical problems may temporarily interrupt the service.
6. Print orders and Teemill
Travel Art prepares your approved design and opens a product page on the Travel Art-branded Teemill store. This handoff is not a purchase and does not mean that an order has been accepted.
Teemill Tech Ltd is the seller and contractual supplier of physical print products. Teemill operates the checkout, takes payment, accepts or rejects the order, manufactures and dispatches the product, provides delivery and tracking information, and handles order support, cancellations, returns, replacements and refunds. Its Terms of Sale apply to the print purchase.
Before paying, review the product, artwork, size, frame, price, taxes, delivery charges, delivery address, estimated delivery information and Teemill’s terms. Prices in the app are in pounds sterling and should match the product price sent to Teemill, but the final total—including delivery—is displayed by Teemill before purchase. Product and delivery availability may depend on your address.
Teemill sends the order confirmation. An order is accepted at the point stated in Teemill’s Terms of Sale or confirmation, not when Travel Art prepares or opens the product page. Travel Art does not receive or store your complete payment-card details.
7. Cancellations, returns and order problems
Because each print contains artwork prepared to your specification, the ordinary change-of-mind cancellation right may not apply to a personalised or custom-made product. Teemill’s checkout and Terms of Sale explain the cancellation and return rules that apply before you pay.
This does not remove your legal rights where goods are faulty, damaged, misdescribed, not fit for purpose or otherwise do not conform to the contract. Teemill, as seller, is responsible for the applicable repair, replacement, refund or other remedy.
For payment, delivery, tracking, cancellation, return, damaged-product or refund enquiries, use the Teemill support details in your checkout or order confirmation and include the order reference. For a problem preparing artwork or reaching checkout from the Travel Art app, contact support@travelart.app. Do not send either service your password or complete payment-card details.
8. Privacy
The app processes account details, uploaded photographs, generated artwork and information needed to provide its features. The marketing website currently has no sign-in, upload form or advertising analytics; its hosting provider may process request information to deliver and secure the site. Read the Privacy Policy for details about the controller, purposes, legal bases, providers, international transfers, retention periods, deletion procedures and privacy contact. Teemill separately controls checkout and order information under its own privacy notice.
9. Our responsibility and your consumer rights
We provide the Travel Art app and artwork service with reasonable care and skill. We are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable or results from circumstances outside our reasonable control where we have taken reasonable steps to reduce the effect.
Travel Art is provided for personal use. If you use it for a business purpose, we are not responsible for business losses such as lost profit, revenue, opportunity or business interruption, except where the law does not allow that responsibility to be excluded.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits responsibility for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other responsibility that cannot legally be excluded. Nothing in these terms restricts your statutory rights, including rights relating to services or digital content that are not provided with reasonable care and skill or do not conform to their contract.
10. Ending use and changes to these terms
You can stop using Travel Art and request account deletion at any time. Deleting your Travel Art account does not cancel a Teemill order or remove information and artwork already held by Teemill for that order.
We may update these terms for changes to the service, law, security requirements or our providers. We will display the updated effective date and give reasonable notice of a material change where required. A change will not retrospectively alter an existing print purchase or remove rights that have already arisen.
We may discontinue all or part of the free service. Where reasonably practical, we will provide advance notice and an opportunity to retrieve or delete saved work. This does not affect an order already accepted by Teemill.
11. Complaints, governing law and courts
Contact support@travelart.app or use the contact form to raise a complaint about Travel Art. Complaints about a print purchase should be directed to Teemill using the details in the order confirmation. We will try to resolve Travel Art complaints directly; these terms do not require you to use a particular alternative dispute-resolution process before going to court.
These terms are governed by the law of the part of the United Kingdom in which you live. If you live in England or Wales, the law of England and Wales applies; if you live in Scotland, Scots law applies; and if you live in Northern Ireland, the law of Northern Ireland applies. You may bring proceedings in the courts of the part of the United Kingdom where you live. If you use the service from another country despite it not being offered there, mandatory protections and jurisdiction rules that apply to you are not excluded.
12. App stores
Apple’s App Store and Google Play have their own terms governing their stores and your device account. Those store providers are not responsible for operating the Travel Art artwork service or supplying physical print products. Teemill’s separate terms govern a print purchase.
